Style and Creative ProcessThe artist’s work resembles a personal diary translated into colour and image. Susperregui
paints, draws, and creates during the bright and fresh mornings of Buenos Aires, using a variety of techniques and materials such as newspapers, notebooks, and magazines.
He describes his work as surrealist, improvising his strokes in the same way a jazz musician improvises musical notes.
Guided by his intrinsic instincts and emotions, Susperregui tells life’s stories infused with the
spirit of jazz, tango and eroticism. His work seeks to provoke the viewer, existing on a fine line between the permissible and the forbidden.
